Not the same top 10 over and over. These lists are built from our own measurements: we track player counts, playtime and Epic return-rate metrics, then calculate which maps are rising, retaining players or making a comeback.

Average peak players over the last 7 days compared with the previous 7 days. Only maps that already averaged at least 30 players are included, so one lucky spike does not count as a trend.
Maps with next-day return rates clearly above the measured catalog median while staying below 500 peak players. At least 500 launches are required so a handful of visits cannot create a false signal.
Average minutes played per player, reported by Epic. Only maps with at least 500 launches are included so one marathon session cannot take first place.
Maps whose recent 7-day average is at least 25% above the previous week while their measured high is at least three times that earlier weekly average.
Maps first seen by McDev within the last 21 days, ordered by peak players.
Highest measured concurrent player count. A simple size ranking based on the latest stored Epic metrics.
How often a map has been favorited in Fortnite. Unlike a raw player count, this captures an explicit save action.
Fortnite Discover shows what Epic recommends. This page shows what our stored measurements support. Active islands are measured repeatedly, and every list publishes its rule so you can see how the ranking was produced.
